DRAGONFLi MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES Launches Creating Media Solutions for Brands

New Company Focused on Digital Media Solutions

SALT LAKE CITY (February 8, 2018) — DRAGONFLi MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES has launched to bridge the divide between brand storytelling and digital media solutions. Led by an experienced team including Adam Comey (MSI and MSI Live CEO/co-founder), Michael Jaquet (U.S. Ski and Snowboard former CMO) along with Adjacency Partners co-founders Bryan Johnston (GoPro, NIKE, UFC) and Tom Arrix (Facebook), Dragonfli Media enables brands to produce, manage, and distribute video content to targeted or highly-distributed channels. Additionally, the company provides end-to-end solutions connecting clients with consumers through brand strategy, experiences, and engagement.

“Our mission is, and always has been, to create experiences and tell stories connecting brands to consumers,” said Comey, Dragonfli Media CEO. “We will work with our clients to develop strategies that will impact their consumers’ lives, resulting in increased loyalty and brand value. These interactions are the new media model and the basis of growth generation.”

Johnston and Arrix serve as board members with Johnston as the executive chairman of the board. They are key drivers of Dragonfli Media’s business strategy and development. Johnston brings a wealth of brand strategy, direction, and management experience having served as a chief marketer for brands including Nike, UFC, GoPro, and Burton Snowboards. Arrix previously led Facebook’s Global Marketing Solutions business for North America.

“Today’s CMO is required not only to think about brand strategy, but also to create cohesive brand navigation for consumers, and most important to determine where and when to interact,” said Johnston. “This can be challenging to accomplish relying exclusively on internal resources—hence Dragonfli Media, comprised of experienced executives, knows how to source and execute proven solutions for clients.”

Dragonfli Media’s vast array of vertically integrated services and platforms are currently contracted by clients including Facebook, Major League Rugby, Sony, Toyota, Red Bull, Burton, Lexus, and many others. Services will be provided by the teams and technology previously employed by companies now conducting business together as Dragonfli Media.

Jaquet, who serves as Dragonfli Media’s chief revenue officer, is already ramping up staffing in the partnership division. “I am excited to leverage my network of contacts and deal-making experience in the sports marketing space with clients,” says Jaquet, who brings with him a track record for achieving significant sponsorship growth at U.S. Ski and Snowboard and negotiating a groundbreaking deal with NBC Sports for the snow-sport association.

The management group includes Lance Meyerink, who serves as creative director of Dragonfli Media, bringing his experience as head of the creative design group 503 Collective in Portland, Oregon. Dave Swanwick, COO of MSI, will maintain the same position with Dragonfli Media.

Swanwick contributes entrepreneurial savvy and brand strategy expertise resulting in long-term client partnerships.
