Transforming traditional conferences into virtual experiences.


The Solution
We turned their traditional, in-person conference into a virtual experience, providing a turnkey platform to live stream original content to an audience around the world.
Through a REMI production (remote integration model) from our office in Salt Lake City, we directed and produced the three-day event, featuring more than 20 live and pre-recorded interviews with top leaders in the real estate industry from Keller Williams, Compass, Redfin, Coldwell Banker, Zillow and many more.
The Challenge
Inman Connect Now, an annual real estate summit, was seeking a new way to feature their keynote speakers and host networking opportunities for their audience during the COVID-19 pandemic. With travel restrictions due to health and safety concerns, the real estate outlet sought an innovative solution to deliver their conference to a wide-ranging audience.
Live and pre-recorded interviews with top leaders in the real estate industry from Keller Williams, Compass, Redfin, Coldwell Banker, Zillow and many more.
The Results
From the comfort of each subject’s home or office, interviews were conducted through Zoom, Skype or via LTN then broadcasted live to the Connect Now audience. Viewers were able to chat with each other during the broadcast and occasionally audience questions were fed to the speakers in realtime. Each interview was recorded and made available on-demand. Additionally, our team developed and oversaw the production schedule while airing sponsor commercials, custom motion graphics and branded overlays for each interview.
During a normal year, Inman’s live audience would have been limited to the in-person attendees. Now, as more people are accustomed to consuming content virtually, their industry-leading series was seen live and on-demand by thousands of viewers around the world.
After a successful debut series in June 2020, Inman continued to contract us to produce a monthly show well into 2021. Even when there is a return to normalcy and in-person events, we are proud to have developed a sustainable model and proof of concept that can deliver live and on-demand content to a mass audience, without the health risks or hassle of travel.
